Hi guys, this is my question

As you all know the upcoming weekend event will feature double odds of achieving green items from bosses. Of course this concerns the green weapons but does this now also include the war in kryta greens? And I don't only mean the new weapons but more important, the new mini's!

I hope your thought can help me cause I'm not so sure.

I would imagine so but I could be wrong, considering the announcement doesn't say...
or possibly the fact that it doesn't need too

Double chance of greens from BOSSES means what it says. If a green can drop from a WiK BOSS, then you have a better chance of getting it from that boss, but not from normal foes.

But don't get excited, a double chance means something like a .02% chance instead of a .01% chance. In my experience, this doubling adds up to nothing.

Last double weekend I managed to get 4 greens and didn't play that much. I could be lucky ofcourse.

Exactly, it all comes down to luck more than the doubling. And, GW "urban legends" notwithstanding, your luck is random.

Yes the description says double chance of greens from bosses. As far as I know the new mini's are regarded green items and they, according to the wiki information, can drop from every mantle/peacekeeper. So logically it would make sense we have indeed a double drop rate of those mini's from bosses.
I do agree that the chance is still very small and because it will only be form bosses the chances of getting them don't improve that much. Unless there is some WiK boss somewhere which can be easily farmed. But I don't think there is any, maybe the one outside ToA but yeah, we will see..

Mesmer boss just outside beetletun. Monks boss (the bounty one outside divinity reach)is easy to get to. But the WiK mobs are better setup than most of the other boss mobs. Greaves outside ToA I think you mean him is also easy to get to.
The new bosses just outside Lions arch are easy to get to. There is one in scoundrils rise.
But I have no idea if these new WiK bosses even drop greens, don't they all drop greens there?

Yes I agree, the one outside beetletun would probably be the closest one, also the mob it is in isn't that hard after a quick pull. The fact that it's a mesmer I think isn't that great but we will see I guess

You're right they drop from the normal mobs.

But don't they also drop from bosses? I can only see one unique item on wiki that is dropped by destor. I hope they drop from bossed too since there are lots of them now.

There's only one mini I know of that is a drop (mini Enforcer). Mini Livia, Sarma, & Evennia come from Royal Gifts.

also a lil off topic.. cant we get like a decent pve weekend.. the last few( and they are few.. this yr has been dommed by pvp) have been tbh preety crappy.

(making worthless greens.. even more worthless!)

I can confirm from a lot of totem farming that you dont get double green drop from non-bosses. The root behemoths are not bosses and do not drop double, and the regular mantle dropping greenies are not bosses either. Maybe the WiK bosses drop double, i cant tell

They might, I have not seen anyone report it though.

I've had two green WiK drops and they were both from normal mobs.

I can confirm the WiK green weapons drop from (White Mantle) bosses too, as I had my first The Adjudicator drop from Inquisitor Lashona. Never had a miniature drop so far neither from bosses nor normal mobs though, so no idea about those...

Im not sure what the % say, however last green couble drop weekend i piled up 21 totem axes just messin round.... sooo im thinkin it applies to all foes that drop "Unique" items. that would include mini's id think. I would assume they are coded the same way all other unique items are.

Great, I'll take your word for it

So I guess weapons drop form the bosses too, the upcoming event should give them a double droprate
